Tehreek-e-Muzahamat Chairman Bilal Ahmed Sidiqui has termed the atrocities of forces in Sar Pattan on civilian population highly condemnable and reflection of frustration because of peoples will of resistance against occupation. During in intervening night of 28 and 29 December forces raided the locality of Sar Pattan and arrested a youth Irfan Ahmed Malik from his home and used brute force to quell the protests against the arrest and beat men and women ruthlessly and injured several people. One among them is injured with pellet in right eye and is undergoing treatment in SMSH Srinagar. Doctors have operated upon him for retina damage and has suggested for second surgery in coming days. Terming these atrocities highly condemnable Bilal Sidiqi said that such brutalities reflect frustration and moral defeat of occupational forces at hands of peoples courageous resistance. In the meanwhile Bilal Sidiqi along with Party General Secretary Muhammad Saleem Zargar, Sheikh Musaib and Rafiq Ahmed today visited SMHS to enquire about the well being of injured Aijaz Ahmed Malik.(KNO)
